Luigi Pagliarini
neuropsicologo per formazione, è un artista impegnato dai primi anni 90 nella Software Art, Robotica d’Arte, Arte ed Intelligenza Artificiale. Al momento, è Professore di Teoria della Percezione e Psicologia della Forma, Semiologia del Corpo e Psicologia dei Consumi Culturali presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata. È Consultant Professor presso il Playware della Danish Technical University, dove si occupa di Robots and Dynamic Agents Interfaces Design, ed è anche Partner Consultant dell’Entertainment Robotics. In passato, ha collaborato a diversi progetti con realtà quali il LEGO Group, SONY, Real World Records, ecc. Tra le altre, è stato Fondatore e Direttore del Pescara Electronic Artists Meeting; Direttore Artistico di Ecoteca; Curatore della Sezione di Robo[art] del Robotsatplay Festival; Inventore e Fondatore di RoboCup Junior - una competizione pedagogica tutt’ora in uso in tutto il mondo. Attualmente è membro del Comitato Editoriale del “Journal of Artificial Life and Robotics”, membro del Comitato Editoriale della “Rivista di Psicologia dell’Arte”, membro del Comitato Scientifico della Conferenza Internazionale “Psychology-Based Technologies” e membro direttivo di APEXperience. Ha pubblicato su libri, riviste, webzines, su atti di congressi e conferenze internazionali. Ha ricevuto onorificenze artistiche e accademiche ed è stato insignito di premi internazionali, più di una volta. Ha esposto in diversi musei e luoghi istituzionali in tutto il mondo (il Centre Pompidou, ICC a Tokyo, il Museo della Scienza di Napoli, ecc.). Ha collaborato con diversi Enti e Istituti di Ricerca ed Università (MIT Medialab di Boston, il DIpartimento di Meccatronica del Maersk Institute di Odense, il Departmento di Psicologia di Roma, di St. Andrews, di Napoli o di Milano, l’Acccademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Bari, ecc.) , sia come ricercatore che insegnante e - in qualità di consulente - con diverse aziende, industrie e multinazionali. Più volte, il suo è stato descritto su i media di diversi paesi.
